What is the total cost you typically pay for when purchasing MeI to include shipping costs?
I have been looking into purchasing methyl iodide from several suppliers, and it seems to be extremely expensive to ship. I have found it as cheap as
$103/kg, but when they tack on the shipping charges it comes out to somewhere around $350, every single time.
This seems to be a trend, so is that really what it costs to send it via a courier? I know its a inhalation hazard, but that is really expensive
considering the amount and size of the package.
This one is going into my projects list to prepare myself, whenever I get the time to get around to it.
