Strontium aluminate crystal
I remember these Autoclave reactor
are used to create quartz crystal
that if i remember that silicon dioxide might be soluble in a superheated solution of sodium carbonate
and i was looking at Lumilux
http://www.everglow.us/pdf/everglow-tl300-photoluminescent-p...
that is Strontium aluminate doped with some europium
while reading the datasheet
i read this SOLUBILITY IN WATER: 0.3 g/l at 20°C
maybe we could add some of this Strontium aluminate in the autoclave reactor with some water and heat it and try to grow some crystal with it.
any here have idea if this could work ?

If you want phosphorescent crystal it won´t work. I think strontium and europium aluminates haven´t the same solubility so you will have just small
doped zone.
