Heating NaHCO3 solution
If i heat solid NaHCO3, it decomposes to Na2CO3, CO2 and H2O.
What happens if I heat up an aqueous solution of NaHCO3?
Will it produce Na2CO3 in solution?

Yes, you get a solution of Na2CO3. This is actually a nice experiment, you see bubbles of CO2 escaping from the solution.
Even better demonstration of formation of carbonate ions is obtained when a pH indicator is added to the water. E.g. if you add phenolphtalein to the
solution of NaHCO3 then the solution remains colorless or very faint pink. When you start heating the liquid, you see formation of bubbles and the
color of the solution becomes deep pink/red, due to rise of the pH.
