scavanging nickel metal

What can someone scavange for relatively reasonable amounts of nickel metal? Certain years of Canadian coins come to mind.

A while back I had a look around for nickel metal, and it turns out that there are essentially no applications that require pure nickel metal, so Canadian coins are probably your best bet.
For me that wasn't really a viable option because of shipping costs so I ended up buying some pure nickel electrodes, which worked out to be a reasonable price for the amount I needed.
