home chem lab hair analysis for heavy metals
for voracious tuna eaters, paranoics of security, etc...
what is the best, fast, cheap... method for hair analysis of heavy metals?
some of interest: Hg, Pb, Fe, Cu, Cd and Ag & Au for people taking too much coloidal Ag & Au.
maybe get a ball of hairs, nitric acid drop by drop till the hair is disolved, and add some solution for check the existence of the correspondent
heavy metal? or really unless you have expensive aparatus this can't be possible in a home lab?
references for this procedure?

What have you found out so far, or is posting this message 100% of your research ?
It sounds like an interesting idea/project although i think you'll find that the question will fall on deaf ears if you assume that all of the work
will be done for you.
Edit:
Looks like a pointless exercise from a scientific perspective, although could easily be sold to Mugs (75% of the population) if were safely do-able as
a home testing kit.

"the inability to discern between exogenous contaminants and endogenous toxicants in hair"
basically makes it a Hair measurement, not 100% related to internal bodily processes.

Barring the social side of things...
Ash the hair and use an XRF gun? Not sure what a minimum sample size is for something like that. They use mini handheld spectrometers for analyzing
metal alloys. They can detect pretty much all the transition metals.
