Inorganic Chemistry for Dummies

Has anyone acquired or read this?

http://m.dummies.com/store/product/Inorganic-Chemistry-For-D...

Thought it might be a joke, but apparently it's real. Ran across a mention of it here:

Rapopart’s Rules for critical commentary:

1. Attempt to re-express your target’s position so clearly, vividly and fairly that your target says: “Thanks, I wish I’d thought of putting it that way.”
2. List any points of agreement (especially if they are not matters of general or widespread agreement).
3. Mention anything you have learned from your target.
4. Only then are you permitted to say so much as a word of rebuttal or criticism.

Anatol Rapoport was a Russian-born American mathematical psychologist (1911-2007).

Looks interesting but the reviews speak volumes:

If you go to Amazon the reviews are the opposite.

Also, what would the difference be between Chemistry I/II for Dummies, and this? Apparently, there is also Chemistry Essentials for Dummies! Too many options! :o

EDIT: Ahhh, different authors. Nevermind.

Looks like I require "interpreting dummies texts for dummies"...

The 'for dummies' series has a generally good reputation, for what that's worth.

I have it in PDF if anyone wants a copy.

It's not particularly information packed but it did introduce me to some of the terminology, and foundations.

It was one of my first internet "scores" on chemistry info.

Is there a library on site I could upload it to? I have a few similar PDF's I'd be happy to share.

They tried to have me "put to sleep" so I came back to return the favor.

I have read it. While I don't own it. It isn't very packed with anything useful unless you are just getting into chemistry and need basic grounding. It has mixed reviews most of the time.

Other than that, I can can be used to brush up on basic theory and stuff since it isn't a hard read. So I would recommend it for those who are 100% new and lost or just some one that needs a little brush up on basics for some reason.

I just made you read this very pointless signature. How does it feel?

Ask for access to References.

Speaking of uploading to references. I have Frank whitmore's organic chemistry collection. If anyone is interested in it. I am not sure if it has already been uploaded. It a pretty large book so it would take awhile for me to scan in.

Ask Polverone about uploads to library or offers of references-

I do not have the powers of library science...
