spilt water on heating mantle
What is the procedure for correcting this error ..
Any advice etc would be greatly appreciated.. many thanks in advance

If only water, place under a heat lamp a few hours until dry. Partly dissasemble if required to ventilate.
Check the elements with an ohm meter and visually if possible then start at the lowest possible setting preferably using an amp meter .

I'm with bio, I think a heat lamp is the way to go if it's just water spilled on it. If I may ask, is this an older heating mantel. The
older ones employing asbestos would take a time to dry out.
