separation of insoluable ferrous oxalate
I did the reductive leaching of iron ore using oxalic acid. Now the iron oxaltes are formed but these are insoluable in water and remain with residue
?
How to separate them ? Becasue these are not soluable so treatment of filter will not help in this case becasue oxaltes will remain in resiude.

Treatment with strong alkali (e.g. NaOH) should revert the oxalates back to oxides (and Na oxalate). Would that help?
