pressure of a closed system


If i have a closed tank with .5 atm and a closed tank with 1 atm and i mix them will the new pressure be .75 atm?

That's a question ov volume. For example, if the 1 atm tank is 1mL and the .5 atm tank is 10L, the pressure will be closer to .5 atm.

Use pV(T)=pV(1) + pV(2)

T for total pressure and volume
1 for pressure*volume of one gas
2 for pressure*volume of the other gas
