Chemical reactor
Hello everyone, recently I have been interested by chemical reactor. Mostly small ones, however, it seams used one made by brand like ACE is rare, and
I don'T really trust chinese supplior, ether because they only have large system, and the shipping customs fee.
Does anyone know where I could (if it is not extremly cheap, it would not be baugth now) find 100-1000ml chemical reactors? Used or new.
On a side note, it migth be interesting to know opinion of people about such reactors.

You mean flanged flasks? They regularly pop up on both US and UK eBay for reasonable prices.

That description covers a lot of territory. What features do you want: high pressure (how high?), high temperature (how high?), agitation,
instrumentation, etc.
Should it be of glass or metal? If metal, what kind of metal?
Parr makes some real nice metal reactors - but very expensive.
Is this reactor to be a general purpose type or do you have a specific application in mind?

Normal glassware temperature, agitation if possible. Made of glass for general purpose. I would like it jacketed. If it can old pressure, it is better
of course.

IMO the only benefit to the home lab would be that they are easy to clean. Cost of the jacketed reaction vessels are double that of non and if you can
afford to get the jacketed vessel you will then need to have the equipment to pump hot/cold at the right temp which might be hard to do with simple
$20 store bought pond pump because I don't think they are made for high heat liquids. But... you can get them on ebay for about half the price that
you would find them from a glass supplier.
