Aluminium carbide Al3C4
Can i make Aluminum carbide by....
Thermal decomposition of sucrose to get some fine Carbon, then powder it, and get some powdered aluminum, heat at 900 degree celsius (Or do i need a
higher temperature ?) To melt the aluminum and get Al3C4 ?

Metal Al with theor. amount of carbon was heated in elec. furnace at 1975-2000 °C, atmospheric pressure, H2 atmosphere. Yield: 83%

If you have cryolite, maybe you could try this:
"Produces aluminum carbide when the powder metal is heated with carbon at 2000°C or at 1000°C in presence of cryolite"

Cryolite is also added to the alumina used as a starting material when they electrolytically produce aluminium on an industrial scale, to lower the
melting point and reduce costs.

This process would need an electric furnace, or induction heater.
