Making UN form AN

The idea is to mix saturated AN solution with urea solution. The system will be at equilibrium AN/UN, but in open vessel with ventilation it should lose NH3 with time. The goal either pure UN to crystalise or to end up with AN/UN mixture with zero OB.
For those who don't know the advantages of UN(CO(NH2)2.HNO3): It's more sensitive then most AN based compositions, so more reliable. It explodes even heavily pressed. It's less hygroscopic. Here's a test:

How will the urea be nitrated in such mild conditions?

The composition in the video was made with a UN from a standard nitration of urea, I assume.

I have once made UN by reacting AN, urea and HCl. The UN percipitated.

By nitration of urea I understand nitrourea and dinitrourea. Reaction of dilute HNO3 with urea is much more like neutralisation. The UN on the video is made by combining very cold saturated solution of urea and 50% HNO3. It thickens and worms fast. The yield is expectedly very big. Then It was heat dried to the point of melting. After that I stored it in a non well sealed container for more then 6 months. Just before detonation I poured a little EGDN left from my previous test around where is the blast cap.
