Digital pH meters for sale

I accidentally ordered 10 instead of 1 so I am now looking to turn my stupidity into an effort of encouragement towards armature scientists by selling the 9 excess meters for AU$75 each (+shipping), discounted from the cost price of AU$86 each.

These meters aren't the standard box looking ones, these have a long replaceable electrode (~10mm OD) that can fit into even a 14/20 flask allowing for in situ testing. Range 0.00 to 14.00 with 0.01 resolution.

First in, best dressed. I can post them world wide.

Would be ideal to post a picture so people have some idea of what they would be buying.

I can't add pictures because I'm on a tablet, the OS of which doesn't support attachments. The testers are new and in the original box, the supplier currently has no items in stock or listed so I can't even post a link to them. The only thing I guess I can do is drop the price to $50 + postage.

Just by chance the items might have a name as the manufacturer maybe too (or its ACME?), I have seen this before, it is often something like HAL-9000 or other silly nonsensical stuff, I think it got a habit after "2001 Odysee...." ;)

This and a concentric attack by the few in the know with the secrets of the intanet might turn up some information considerably harder then "Its a good one with a long electrode". You can say the same of me and nevertheless I wold feel not completely described and presented then.

And I am seriously looking for a ph-meter with a long electrode to fit through a flasks neck. Have found some cheap and intersting ones but I am not sure about the quality.

PS: Like this?

Approach the first gobshite in the street and ask them to take a picture. Cameras are a bit more plentyful nowadays compared to back when it was all glass slides and dark rooms.

It's called an EZmeter and it looks a lot like both; the one that you've linked and that I've paid well more than I should have x10....

Usually things are much more expensive here so I'm kinda use to it but 3 times the unit price, plus ordering 10 instead of 1.... Come on!

Doc B

I use boiling oxalic acid in some of my processes.

But first I must adjust the pH to about 5 with NH4OH.

I use pH test strips, which is awkward.

I have never used a pH meter and would not know a good one from a bad one.

If i could immerse the probe of the meter you are selling and get a continuous reading as I add incremental ammounts of ammonia, then the whole operation would be much less hassel.

Would the probe get damaged from boiling oxalic acid?

Can I get a new probe if it does?

Can you post the brand name of the meter you have for sale?

Can you post a picture of one?

If yes, then I want one!

It would show the continually changing pH of the mixture but the operating temperature of the probe currently fitted is rated from 0-50'C. There are a variety of other interchangeable probes that could be better suited to your application but I only have the one type.
The brand is EZmeter it looks to be the same or similar to the Hanna HI98103 pictured at http://www.digital-meters.com/chemical-analysis-c2/ph-meters...
Explanation for inability to attach a photo is given above, despite Jockstrap's idea. :P

Thanks Doc B, the only other time I would use one is for an AB extraction. But I may as well get one that is suitable for both purposes.
