What type of desiccant is this?

I pulled this out of a Bomem MB 120 spectrometer. I'd like to replace it with fresh desiccant but I don't know what this is. It is probably a common type. Temporarily I put in some clay desiccant in its place. Does anyone know what type of desiccant this is?

If it is drierite, then it is CaSO4 + some CoCl2.
You can get rid of the water of hydration by heating it. Do a test on a small sample and see if it works.
