Vilsmeier-Haack reaction
Hello..
could anyone please help me with vilsmeier-haack reaction..!!!
I have a presentation next week about vilsmeier haack reaction.. I hope that anyone can help me with some information about the chemists especially
Erich Haack and how do they discover the reaction???
another thing.. I don't understand the mechanism when vilsmeier reagent react with carbonyl to give B-chloro substituted enaldehyde!!!????
