A small quantity of gallium available for interest
Hello,
I have got a small quantity of gallium that I want to get rid of. I find it to be quite interesting but have no real use for it. I have around 30g in
total in the following quantities:
2 x 10g glass vials
1 x 5g glass vial
7 x 1g mini glass vial
I want to cover my costs on these (but nothing more). So would happily accept £15 for 10grams, £8 for 5 grams and £2.50 for each 1 gram vial. These
prices include shipping 1st class in secure packaging. I understand this is my first post so many may be wary of parting with their money (which I
would accept via paypal). To put your minds at rest, I have an ebay account with the same username and I will also send the gallium to members who
seem trusted on the site and take payment once the item has arrived. The gallium comes in small 1gram pellets (except the 1g vials which were melted
to fit into their containers).
I can also send pictures on request
Thanks
Postage extras: EU airmail: £1 extra. Worldwide airmail: £2 extra

Yea . . .but did you hear of the kid who sent a bottle of Hg via air mail (Hg also amalgamates with Al), which of course broke, and made a big hole in
the side of the plane?

Anytime mercury is spilled in an aircraft the plane is writen off, by the insurance company, until it is cleaned. It is not literally wrecked, only
classified as such - aka this is for health reasons not because it is about to fall apart. mercury spills on air crafts have happened a handfull of
times. (6 IIRC)
If planes were super vulnerable to mercury, terrorists would be smuggling rectal thermometers not underware bombs.
Edit: I will add that each airline regulates what it will not carry beyond any applicable legislation. I know of of case where an education company
was not allowed to take a vial of KCl on board a plane.

I can package it very securely but I have searched around and since it is a hazardous material it is a bit dodgy sending it overseas. On that note I
have to retract my overseas shipping option. Thanks for making me aware! Sorry to waste your tie but it anybody in the uk can put it to good use send
me a message. Cool forum by the way!
