Does cyclopentanone works with sodium nitroprusside?

I tried mixing cyclopentanone with sodium nitroprusside and NaOH solution to check if it detect carbonyl group. But the results were indeterminate, the color was similar to dissolved nitroprusside. I know that this reaction works with ketones, but some sources says that it only works with methyl ketones.
So what's it be? Does it work with cyclopentanone or not?
If it works i would be pleased to see reaction mechanism. I know that with methyl ketones it forms some kind of alpha-nitrosoketone complex.
