dessicant properties
I am looking for information on desiccants. That is what the equilibrium humidity would be for which desiccant. Specifically I need to maintain
45-55 RH at 68-72F, and a rapid equilibrium would be nice too.
Ca(NO3)2-4H2O was suggested elsewhere but I can anything on it. Maybe because 45-55 % RH is a pretty shitty desiccant.

Actually what you don't want is — a table of Desiccant Properties. For what you don't want here dobe a table.....

What you dobe wanting is a table of Constant humidity solutions.
There is - Surprise being such a table in la CRC Handbook.
The closest values are 51 and 53% @ 25o.
If you return tomorrow and stand on one leg - raise your right
hand and swear you cannot find such a table using
www.justfuckinggoogleit.com I will scan one for you. However
if you do so swear and I find one on line ... I can assure you that
you will find no rest in the after-life that you carbon based units call death.
