What happens here (Heating K2S2O8) ?

I was curious what would happen when heating potassium perdisulfate (K2S2O8).
I heated a bit of it in a test tube using a mild Bunsen flame.
It started fuming and some white sublimate appeared on the wall.
Is it SO3 ?

Yes. Most if not all sulfate based salts(to my knowledge) , upon strong heating, decompose into SO3.
I used that stuff a while back to polymerizatize a sodium silicate solution and fix cracked glass

From basics of chemistry:

K2S2O8 -> K2S2O7 +1/2 O2 -> K2SO4 + SO3
