Steam distillation after solvent extraction.
I've been having poor success with steam extractions but find it easy to do a non selective extraction using ethanol and a soxhlet extractor,
Would it be reasonable to add water to the solvent extraction product and then do a steam/ethanol extraction?

what are you trying to extract and what are you trying to extracting it from
