Iodine solution to potassium iodate?

I have some veterinary iodine solution (mixture of iodine and potassium iodide dissolved in isopropyl alcohol). I've been thinking of something useful to do with it..

If I was to electrolyse it with platinum and titanium wires would I cyrystalise some potassium iodate?
