While searching for a cheap gate or butterfly valve I found a scrapped API-365-Triple-Quadrupole-Mass-Spectrometer and got it for a great price.

I think its got two turbo pumps two large bore valves and probably two vacuum gauges and various vacuum flanges. Of cause I don't know if any of them work. If one of the turbo pumps works and I can get the driver working it will make my diffusion pump redundant. Some turbo pumps apparently have a drag pump on the output which allows them to operate at an outlet pressure of a few tor which my rotary vane pump can manage easily.

The quadrupoles should be interesting but it may not have the electronics.

I am wg48 but not on my usual pc hence the temp handle.
