If you are looking for very small amounts for catalysis, you can readily buy 1 grain of platinum on places like eBay. This is for a grain, not a
gram. It is a very small amount, and overpriced, but suitable if you only need a small amount.

Yes I'm the cheapest source you'll find.no lab supplier will beat my prices.ive tried to find small amounts of the metal on eBay but it's either
grains for ridiculous prices or powder for significantly more than what I can get it for.and most precious metals dealers won't do less than an
ounce.most jewellers can't really get it either or don't want to sell it to you and if they do it's in wire form and not always 99.9% purity
available.

This is 2grams of palladium.the little squares are about
5mm wide and about .25 to .5mm thick.
The platinum looks the same as the palladium.
It all comes in little squares.
