D-glutamate / d-glutamic acid acquisition

Does anyone know a source for d-glutamate or d-glutamic acid?

I'm trying to get into enantioselective chemistry and I would like to prepare Rh2(5R-MEPY)4 from scratch.

Apparently not easy to acquire.

Monosodium Glutamate, or any number of supplement companies, can supply you with cheap L-Glutamic acid.

D-Glutamic acid? Sigma Aldrich.

Yep, that is what I found. I asked a friend if she could have a look at her lab, I know they do some stuff with antibiotics and d-amino acids, but otherwise I guess it is not going to happen.
