Mineral Oil for Thiele Tube?

What grade of mineral oil would be best for use in a thiele tube?

I'd assume nearly any grade would be adequate. However, damn near every assumption I've made so far, has been troublesome haha. So I figured I'd ask the experts :).

I use and like DOT 5 brake fluid, a silicone oil, for all my oil bath needs. It's non-flammable (I think), smells very little, and is good up to about 250C. You won't like the price though.
