Here's a website that provides some educational videos. I have watched many of those in the chemistry section. Don Showalter always performs some
lab experiment to illustrate the segment. In the segment on color he recreates Perkin's synthesis of mauve. In the segment on metal he does a
thermite reaction using iron oxide and aluminum.
