Source of bottle gasses - ethane?
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a manufacturer that sells consumer sized bottles of ethane. By consumer sized, I mean
40-80cu. ft cylinders. I've searched through google and all I can find is the fire retardant, which is obviously not what I'm looking for. Thanks in
advance

My school buys all their small lecture sized gas bottles of them, Cl2, NH3, HCl ect..

All refrigeration suppliers will sell r-50 which is ethane, take a cylinder along and buy what you need, however it's farking expensive because of
it's purity. (in oz it's like $150/kg)

Ethane bottles
Coming late to the discussion, but agree with panache in a couple of aspects: 1- The gas is extremely pure and expensive; 2- refrigeration suppliers
use it for chillers. We repaired a -78ºC flexicool that lost its gas and it was fairly expensive.
