Can someone tell me how to sequence DNA?

Nowadays you send it out, or have your undergrads run those hideous gels for you. =]

your target sequence should be no more than 1000 base pairs long. First you aneal your oligonucleotide primers to each end of your single stranded
DNA. Then using taq, radioactive phosporus and dT dC dA dG you fill in varying lengths of your sequence and finally run that on an acrylamide gel and
read the autoradiograph sequence you get after putting some film on the gel for 12 hours in the -80 freezer
piece of cake!
Or you can just send your sample off to the core and let them do it!
