Hey does anyone know where I can obtain some test tubes (I need one that can be heated over 30 degrees C. I checked the one site that Polverone
showed me, but the test tubes that the site sells can barely be heated at all.

This was a typo and it should be 300° C, shouldn' it?raistlin - 15-7-2002 at 14:38
I did look at the site, however I must have skipped over the borosilicate glassware. And I did make a mistake, I am looking for glassware that can be
heated to over 300 degrees celcius...(I had asked a professor from a local college and thats what he suggested...Is it me or does that seem kinda
high?)

300 celsius isn't that high. It depends on what you're doing. If you're just heating aqueous solutions, you don't need to go that high. If you're
heating, say, lead, you may easily reach or exceed 300 C. Oh, and I'm glad he was able to help you, but I deleted Moonmonster's post because he's not
supposed to post outside of the "whimsy" section; we have a deal.raistlin - 15-7-2002 at 14:52
Yeah Moonmonster and me have some arguements, he has a tendency to send unwanted U2Us to me....lol, no bid deal though
