Nitrosylsulfuric acid and sulfuric acid

kuran200 - 21-8-2018 at 07:42

I saw the following reaction formula in the item of sulfuric acid of Wikipedia:
SO2 + HNO3 + H2O→ H2SO4 + NO

So, I decided to make sulfuric acid through sulfur dioxide in nitric acid.(and recycle nitric acid)
However, I read SM 's "lead chamber process" thread, and found that nitrosylsulfuric acid is produced by this method.

Also I read a thread on the synthesis of nitrosylsulfuric acid.In that thread, nitrosylsulfuric acid was also present in a relatively low concentration aqueous solution of sulfuric acid (dissolved in sulfuric acid?) And it was said that it is not removed even if there is water.
Umm...Is there a nice way to remove this bad compound?

That thread mentioned that (NO)2SO4 can form, complicating things further.

Besides, usually HNO3 is more difficult than H2SO4 to buy since it's more corrosive and dangerous. You can buy HNO3, implying H2SO4 may also be bought easily, so why not just buy it?

Thanks,fusso.
Sorry,my explanation was inadequate.I made nitric acid by thermally decomposing magnesium nitrate(fertilizer).
I read that thread, and thought that there is no choice but to dilute the aqueous solution to remove nitrosylsulfuric acid. That is troublesome.

Originally, nitrosylsulfuric acid is soluble in sulfuric acid?
If it melts, how can nitrosylsulfuric acid be removed?
