I broke down and decided to order a condensor and another piece of glass from them.
If I am correct, the glass they are using is some off brand borosilicate glass mix of lesser quality than pyrex.
However, the craftmanship is of surprisingly of good quality (albeit a hair thinner than what I would prefer)... the places were the glass were welded
together had no microbubbles, and for that matter no microbubbles anywhere in the glass itself unlike the normal bomex crap on the market. The hose
barbs were well done, even and cut off square, unlike another glassware maker I have been known to purchase from before (not mentioning any names).
Plus they have tons of hard to find widgets... for example:
And, last but not least, keck clamps for a buck sixty each.
Overall, I'd say their prices are very reasonable and a great source for glassware. However I would probably recommend staying away from their flasks

I'll say! These are the lowest prices I've ever seen for
ground glass joint adapters. Ten years ago some of these 24/40
adapters cost $40 at least from the major suppliers of labware.
Hopefully the dimensional tolerances are equal to say Kontes.
or similar.

I've bought more pieces from Expediglass than my wife would have liked me to. Like you, I found the fit-and-finish of their glass to be a nice
surprise, given the reasonable prices.
Although you caution against purchasing flasks from them, my experience (having bought about six flasks, both round-bottom and Erlenmeyer) has been
good there, as well--only one flask arrived with any discernible flaw (a small, 1-inch seam line near the bottom center of a 250ml RBF). The flasks
advertised as "thick walled" are especially well made. None of the flasks have failed or cracked, and I regularly use them in 300-degree mantles,
with acidic liquids, under vacuum, etc.
This contrasts with the Bomex pieces I bought one time on a whim, the majority of which are now defunct after less than a year of use, typically as a
result of spontaneous cracking under relatively mild conditions.

I have lately been seeing some talk about this on SMDB, yet I myself have not yet broken a single piece of Bomex from heating.
Well, actually, there was one, but it was clearly my fault. I put a naked torch flame right to the glass, a big no-no with any brand of glassware.
Other than that, no complaints from me. I've even preferentially used ones with noticeable bubbles, to see how they would perform, and still no
problems. What are people doing to this glass to get it to break?
