im looking for a pump that resembles this ...

it is for an aspirator vacuum station so it needs to have a lower inlet and a place for pvc pipe on its top.
i was wondering if this can be found at the big hardware stores.

Might be easier to find pumps for ponds and fountains. Examples are

you should have an rough idea of the flow rate and pressure you need.

I've seen pumps at Loew's that look like water pumps used to supply well water, irrigation water, etc. I didn't look closely at them, however. Home
Depot should have same.
These pumps should come with literature giving the "pump characteristic curve" which will show pressure vs flow.

Jet pumps are intended to pull a vacuum on the suction line to
lift the water and as such are noisy and inefficient.
You will have better results using a water booster pump in the
1/4 to 1/3 HP range with a flow of about 1-2GPM at 20-25PSI.
Also get a low pressure aspirator and a square bucket.
or better an ice chest.
