In the most recent addition to my Readily Available Chemicals web site, I've added a list of useful suppliers.
At the moment however, the list is extremely British dominated (as I'm British and am more familiar with local suppliers). I know of some of the
best non-British suppliers (Clayart Center, Photographers' Formulary, United Nuclear, etc...), but I'm sure there must be more. If you know
of a good supplier in any country, please tell me.
Thanks,

"Name also applies to AlK(SO4)2" in connection to aluminium sulfate.

It's supposed to be like that!
The name alum applies to both chemicals and so the 'Name also applies...' note is meant to warn people who just want one of the chemicals
that something sold as 'alum' could potentially be the other one.
