Does it have to be that specific problem, or can it just be something similar?
You usually convert solutions to molarity from percents before you use them, so as to better estimate moles. In that system, I believe you can then
calculate moles by multiplying the volume in liters by the molarity.
There are also "normality" solutions, which is different than "molarity", but I'm not sure I remember how that works well enough to explain it.
Using a solution of a known molarity makes it really easy to figure out the moles based on volume. So to answer your question, you'd probably compute
the molarity of the solution and then write it on the bottle. |
