Help please!
I was givin one as a donation, could someone explain WHEN this is useful? Ive never seen this used, but i have seen a simular item on roto vaps, not

So id put this between the adapter coming off the flask im boiling and into the condensor. thanks very much! i wont put it in "dungeon" storage then.

Also can be used as fractionating bulb, anti-entrainment separator and steam/condensate trap.

When simple distilling it is often the case that a much
higher boiling component of a mixture will carry-over into
the vapors of a lower boiling component Distilling
too fast or bumping also cause entrainment.
This can sometimes be seen as a mist. A Claisen
sidearm or a simple screen mesh will reduce entrainment.
