Hey, so I was wondering what the easiest and best method for determining the amount of l-PAC in solution after fermenting benzaldehyde with yeast. I
have heard people mention forming the oxide with hydroxylamine and pyridine then titrating with NaOH. But these chems are tough to acquire, toxic,
and not really easy to make, etc. Does anyone know of a simple and easy method, hopefully avoiding uncommon chemicals and equipment?
