ive been thinkin about this for a long time and im about to pull the plug on it. just wanted to see what everyone thinks. Ive searched long and hard
for a great hotplate stirrer that is in the medium price range and yet very reliable. I used to have a very used Corning 4x4 that worked great but i
want a bigger one and this one also lets you see the temp digitaly indead of having to guess. which i love. Anyways what do you guys thinks?

I think that you have time to simulate trying to buy spare parts for it - until the actual commitment to buy.
e.g. new heater element, new control board
If you find difficulty then I would not buy it.

I got one pretty much just like the one in your picture used for $100, and it's been excellent for the past year and a half.

If you want a simpler stirring hotplate, I have a few used Corning PC-320 type working now, for $100 plus $15 in flat rate priority postage. They
don't have a fancy digital display, but otherwise work fine. These are also easy to repair and find parts for if you ever need it.
