An interesting thing to note is the concentration, 8fl/oz treats 80 gallons.
Will be a few days before I can work with it, just wanted to see if anyone has ventured down this road and, if so, what was the outcome?
Have a wonderful weekend!

Outcome? What can be expected to be present other than methyl alc.? It is the only toxic one claimed. This is also probably the active ingredient.
"Oxygenates" such as MTBE and alcohols are added to gasoline for a similar reason.

The vanilla scent? I'm guessing, based on the fact he mentioned aldehydes from the cinnamon equivalent, that the interest is vanillin or something.
I'd expect bulk artificial vanilla "extract" to be a cheaper, more concentrated, less contaminated (they could have mixed a variety of different
scents to approximate the smell of vanilla, with perhaps no vanillin at all) OTC source of vanillin. Dr.Bob - 12-9-2016 at 06:35
Yes, you can buy huge containers of cheap artificial vanilla at most bulk stores, or even just buy pure vanillin from Ebay, so not worth the effort.
It makes a great TLC stain, as well as smells great. But easy to come by in most places.
