Let me apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum for such things, but since I am a newcomer and all, it seems suitable.
Anyway, I saw this book in a bookstore today:
Explosive Effects and Applications
J. A. Zukas and W. P. Walters (editors)
http://www.amazon.com/Explosive-Effects-Applications-Jonas-Z...
I am just wondering whether anyone has experience with this book. Is it good for someone curious about the theory behind energetic materials (but
unfamiliar with the practical aspects of the science)? I flipped through the book, and it seems nice, but then, considering that I know very little
about the subject (and considering the price), opinions from more experienced people seem advisable. Incidentally, I don't know very much chemistry,
either. (It is sad how little they teach in first year, but I digress.)
Any assistance in this would be much appreciated!
