I want to purchase a chemical that is not restricted or listed anywhere, but can be used as a precursor. If I ordered something like this from a TCI,
Acros, etc. type company, do you think it would be cause for concern?
To make this more clear, it is a precursor to a rare schedule 4 substance, so it's a prescription drug and not something highly illegal.

I don't recommend breaking the law... I often see chemicals I know could be used as precursors that I would like to buy simply to have them in my
collection, but I generally don't unless I have a legitimate use for them... this is due mostly to cost.

Most chemical companies won't sell to individuals anyway, so not likely a big problem. If you have a legitimate use for it, then there is little
harm in trying to obtain it, but you will find it hard to buy directly from most chemical companies. If you say what it is, then people can give a
real answer instead of a vague one. Vague questions generate vague answers.
