Where is the best place to look up CAS by name and/or structure?

Unfortunately, SciFinder is the only comprehensive look up site for CAS numbers and names/structures. Publications such as the Aldrich Catalog contain
an index of CAS numbers for the cataloged compounds. A similar list can be found in the Merck Index. Sometimes entering the number into Google will
lead you to a structure or name. Unless you are looking for some really esoteric stuff, this works quite a bit of the time.
If you join the ACS, as a member you get some limited access to SciFinder as part of the membership. You also get a useful number of free downloads
from ACS journals.

I was just "fooling" around on Google with the search term "CAS number index". This turns up a number of places that have indices of CAS numbers. For
example, there is an interesting pesticide database:

And

There are plenty more.

I have some scifinder access with my ACS profile but not a whole lot so like to reserve that for a real strong need. Best is to take a course where
there's a good library with online access to major chem journals. Thanks again AvBaeyer! You're 4/4.

At work I use Reaxys but at home I just use the Sigma-Aldrich website or Wiki.
