I have a digital scale that goes down to .1g. A long time ago I read something that allowed to get down to the microgram range with some simple and
inexpensive steps. As this was a long time ago (probably about 10+) I can't find this.
Does anyone know how to go about making the scale more accurate or a method of measuring to give better accuracy?

A common trick is to use a lever system to give 10x actual weight etc.

Use the scale on a planet with a higher gravity, that will increase the force generated by the same mass. Or put the scale in a centrifuge. :-)
