Nanoporous silicon explosives

Hello all,

Does anyone have any useful information in regards to Nanoporous silicon explosive devices as all scholarly sources charge (that i can find anyway) It seems like an interesting subject and as far as i can tell it hasn't been discussed in any great detail on SM.

There is some information available in regards to Si-LOX (even a youtube video ) and a few reports of lab accidents but anything regarding NPS+general oxidizers is hidden behind a paywall.

The paper that particulary interests me is http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0921510707...

Cheers.

These materials aren't much different from Aluminum compositions
