When I started amateur chemistry I used home science tools but there stock is limited and the chemicals are a rip of because of how little there are
and the amounts compared to prices. United nuclear is ok but a bit to expensive. I was hoping that there is a site to but equipment from thats priced
when with a good stock?
I'm looking for
Dysprosium Metal
Indium Metal
Common reagens such as acids and salts
Beakers
Flasks 250ml, 500ml
Thermometers
Magnetic Stir Bars
Organic Glass ware 24/40
Containers
Ammonium Perchlorate
Aluminom Powder
Nitric Acid
Acetic Acid
Benzyl Alcohol

Ebay, local auctions, ask local uni's (the lab techs are best), watch for adds in the local papers. Check recycle center.
ALIBARBA or whatever its called has some good suppliers, most Chinese but not all there stuff is shit, some companies could teach the west a thing or
two with customer service.
Look on here as people sell stuff all the time. MAKE SURE you know your local rules! From what I have read on here some parts of the world they
sentence you to death for owning a test tube. 40 years for litmus paper (ok exaggeration).

What are you interested in using the dysprosium metal for?

Its florescent ability and interesting characteristics of it and its salts. 10grams or so. I would prefer the metal to its salt forms.
