I have a question for any of the mods or long-term posters. What are some of the regulations concerning the trading/buying of certain items on this
forum?
I did a search a while back and I believe that some person was trying to purchase a certain reagent, but it was locked with a request that it be
carried out via U2U.
Are we allowed to post new topics concerning an item that we are willing to buy from another member? If not, is there any possibility of a special
section devoted to this being opened soon? I am aware that this forum is not for the purposes of buying/seller items, but sometimes it may be
convenient to purchase an item from another member if he has it and does not need it.

Unfortunately, we don’t do a lot of trading around here.
Due to the current suspicions of home chemistry in many parts of the world, most of us try not to implicate our selves in anything that could get us
into trouble or reveal our identities. The closest we have around here is threads like this one.

If you are looking to buy, sell, or trade, post a thread in Miscellaneous. You will have to work out the details privately with the other party. I
don't plan on adding anything fancier or more formal to this site to facilitate commerce in or sharing of physical goods.

as well as "DONATIONS" - that is donations of science materials.
