I wondered why MathJax isn't enabled here. It's a very effective and clean way to represent formulas, chemical equations, etc. It is a lot clearer
than using normal layout.
As an example, consider the quadratic formula:
x1, 2 = (-b ± sqrt(b2-4ac))/2a
OR

All we need are superscripts and subscripts, for the most part. bfesser implemented them, you can use the sup and sub tags if needed.
