That means you are not permitted to view the forum. Pretty simple.

Is it Whimsy, References, or the Moderators Lounge?

zebilol - 15-4-2014 at 10:48

http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk/viewthread.php?tid=1936&a...

how can i do ?

hyfalcon - 15-4-2014 at 10:58

Is this the article you are talking about?

Aromatic Aldehydes as Substrates for Yeast and Yeast Alcohol Dehydrogenase
A. Long, P. James, 0. P. Ward
Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Vol. 33, Pp. 657-660 (1989)

If so, it downloaded just fine for me.

Looks like I need to delve into detrius a little deeper. Wonder why some of these posts made it there?

You have to have been on the forum for some length of time
(number of posts) to have access to detrius. I doubt any
members are going to violate the rules but I could be wrong.

zebilol - 16-4-2014 at 05:05

someone helped me with a first document but if you don't want to help me download a simple pdf it's not a big deal
thx anyway

macckone - 16-4-2014 at 05:12

You are openly asking someone to break board rules.
And with cookery to boot. Yes it is a big deal for the board.
This is a science board not an illegal drug board.
That file is available with the same restrictions at more
cookery friendly boards like 'the vespiary'.

There's nothing illegal about that. We're talking about detritus here.
Here it is: Attachment: phpfUbTpo (102kB)
This file has been downloaded 805 times

That attachment is in the References forum section. That section is limited to contributing members. Since you are not yet a contributing member, you cannot yet obtain the access to References. Luring other members into doing you such favors is not really ethical for someone who posted nothing else on this forum. And cross-posting the requests like you did, is also not going to help. On the contrary, it will only irritate the moderators. Please read the forum guidelines on how to behave on this forum.
