I have used Crossfire Beilstein for quite some time now and untill now it worked flawlessly. Since last week it has been behaving strange. Even when
I search for the most basic transformations imaginable, like nitration of benzene, I get strange returns often what look like metalo-organic complexes
that has little or nothing to do with the query I provide. Does anyone know what this is, have some parameter been changed unintentionally?
Really frustrating...

check to make sure you have the Beilstein database selected and not Gmellin. at the top of the window there should be two databases listed, on that

Gmellin is the same sort of thing as Beilstein, except it generally deals with metals and metal complexes whereas Beilstein deals with organic

I think the use of it requires not just the program but the subscription, and I believe it's over $1000 a year, my school has it and I always try
to take advantage of it to search out the perparations of specific compounds.
