hello I have a question from my review of organic chemistry.
But I do not understand what it's encoding method.
the observed amount of heat evolved when Cyclooctatétraène is hydrogenated in 110 kcal/mol. what does this tell you about the possible resonance
energy of this compound?
can you tell me the answer or give me a link to understand how to answer this question.

You can calculate the energy given off by hydrogenating four double bonds that are not stabilized by resonance. Compare this to the energy you are
given.
