NMR help

anoopai - 9-5-2013 at 10:25

hi all,
I got some compounds nmr, but dont giving any groups tests, can anyone give its hint , if so i will post my nmr data

Have you even attempted to read the spectra yourself? You seem to have a habit of posting work for others, without even attempting it first yourself.

Post them, and we can help you.

first two i think they are terpenoids with sugar attachements, rest dont have clue.
These are my spectral values

You know that in order to solve NMR spectra of such complex compounds one needs not only values but also more informations like multiplicity of signals (singlet/doublet/...) and coupling of signals...

CPD9 C13

Was there a proton scan from that? Or an MS? This looks like something impure with an oxime/amide/amidine group in it. Almost infine solutions could be given for this spectra.

Was the compound pure? Have anyone attempted to purify it? Those small peaks looks bad, and since they are also listed, it looks chaotic.

CPD9 HNMR ,
Didnt took mass, This compound was too difficult to purify, but purified to a level we could

What about other spectra ?

BromicAcid - 12-5-2013 at 04:58

What was your deuterated solvent on this one? Even with a deuterated solvent you should see some hint of your solvent, especially in dilute conditions and your TMS peak is moderately large.

For your HNMR your peak at 5.746 must have been important since you set it to 1 for your integration, mind telling us what you think that proton belongs to?

anoopai - 12-5-2013 at 05:44

Solvent is CD3OD

So you just scraped something off the bottom of your lab bench and put it in an NMR tube?

How did you get this compound? Synthesize? Extract?

Without context I wouldn't even open an NMR file. It would be futile, especially if you have more than 10 protons.

anoopai - 22-5-2013 at 19:38

Got from extract

extract of what... seriously, help us out
how did you extract it?

This is ridiculous if you think we can tell you what something is if you don't tell us where you got it from, how you got it, and what you were attempting to get.

anoopai - 24-5-2013 at 20:21

I got it from Tinospora leaf extract, i was just isolating the compound and want to study it, not any target,
